Schloss Marloffstein stands in Marloffstein (Landkreis Erlangen-Höchstadt), in Bavaria, Germany. The building is a listed Baudenkmal. No visits are on record for this building.
Schloss Marloffstein stands in the Bavarian village of the same name, on the site of a fortress already recorded before 1300 and once tied to the bishopric of Bamberg. The Stauffenberg family had a baroque residence built here at the end of the seventeenth century, over the remains of the medieval stronghold. After years of decay, the octagonal entrance tower and part of the north wing were removed, and in 1833 the building was reduced to its present form, with a shallow roof and a broad balcony on the south front. A thirteenth century coat of arms set into a pillar in the courtyard still recalls its old connection to the bishops of Bamberg.
