Schloss Lichtenberg stands in Scheuring (Landkreis Landsberg am Lech), in Bavaria, Germany. No visits are on record for this building.
Schloss Lichtenberg once stood on the right bank of the Lech, south of the village of Scheuring in Bavaria. First recorded in the 13th century as the seat of a noble family bearing its name, it later passed to the Dukes of Bavaria and was rebuilt around the end of the 17th century into a three storey pleasure palace for Elector Maximilian II Emanuel. Burned down more than once, including during the Thirty Years' War, and left to decay after the death of Maximilian III Joseph, the building was torn down in 1806. Only foundation traces and a small hunting lodge in the former park remain today.
