Bodendenkmal in Scheuring, #D-1-7831-0047 stands in Scheuring (Landkreis Landsberg am Lech), in Bavaria, Germany. Its opening hours and prices have not been verified at the source yet.

The Burg Lichtenberg refers to a now vanished castle site, standing 582 metres above sea level overlooking the Lech river, in the hamlet of Lichtenberg, part of the municipality of Scheuring. Established around the mid 13th century as an imperial fief under Hohenstaufen rule, it later passed to the Dukes and then the Prince-Electors of Bavaria, who used it as a summer residence. The old castle was torn down in 1687 to make way for a baroque hunting lodge designed by Giovanni Antonio Viscardi, which was itself demolished in 1808 to supply building materials elsewhere. Today only the archaeological ground remains, along with the nearby former steward's house built in 1777.
