Schloss Kühbach, in Kühbach in the Landkreis Aichach-Friedberg, Bavaria, occupies the former convent buildings of a Benedictine nunnery founded in the early 11th century. The present three-wing layout, open to the south, dates largely from the late 17th and early 18th centuries, with a classical rebuilding after a fire in the mid-19th century. The house once belonged to Duke Max in Bavaria, father of Empress Elisabeth of Austria-Hungary, and later passed to the Barons Beck-Peccoz, who still live there today. The Schloss and its park are not open to visitors, though the vaulted cloister and the 17th-century gate tower can be seen from outside.
