Schloss Großköllnbach, in Pilsting in Lower Bavaria, is a former small noble residence built in 1563 on the site of an earlier medieval motte. Despite its name, the building was mainly used as a farmhouse after the Lex family bought it in 1880, and it remains in their hands today. Original doors and a staircase survive inside, along with a Solnhofen stone floor in the entrance and a 16th century roof structure notable for its carpentry. Restoration work completed in 2017 earned the owning family the Bavarian monument protection medal in 2018.
