Schloss Dermbach stands in the northern part of the village of Dermbach, in the Wartburgkreis district of Thuringia, facing the church of the Franciscan monastery. Built from 1707 for the Abbey of Fulda, which had just regained authority over the area, it originally served as an administrative seat before becoming, under Konstantin von Buttlar, a three-winged Baroque residence enclosing a broad rectangular courtyard, surrounded by a sandstone wall. Inside, a grand staircase and decorated ceilings survive. The building now houses the Dermbach municipal administration.
