Schloss Bremervörde stands in Bremervörde (Landkreis Rotenburg (Wümme)), in Lower Saxony, Germany. Its opening hours and prices have not been verified at the source yet.
Bremervörde Castle, in Lower Saxony, was once the fortified residence of the archbishops of Bremen, developed from an early 12th century stronghold on an island in the River Oste. Slighted by order in 1682 following repeated sieges during the 17th century, it left no visible remains of the palace itself. Only the former chancery building survives, now the oldest house in town, which today houses the Bachmann Museum. Visitors mainly come to trace the outline of the old moats and bastions in the surrounding landscape.
