Schloss Behringen stands in Hörselberg-Hainich, in the Wartburgkreis district of Thuringia. Built from the 16th century onward for the von Wangenheim family, it combines Renaissance and Baroque elements, crowned by a tall staircase tower that rises above the whole complex. The estate also includes an 18th-century park with rare tree species, among them a 200-year-old Weymouth pine, from which a sculpture trail and the Hainich Rennstieg path both begin.

- The historic park, partly preserved, is open to visitors and marks the start of a sculpture trail toward Hütscheroda as well as the Hainich Rennstieg path.
- A neighbouring former inspector's house has housed a local history museum and the community library since 2000.
