Graues Schloss stands in Amt Creuzburg (Wartburgkreis), in Thuringia, Germany. The building is a listed Baudenkmal. Its opening hours and prices have not been verified at the source yet.
The Graues Schloss stands on the banks of the Werra river in Mihla, built on the foundations of a medieval moated stronghold. Constructed of local limestone rubble in the Renaissance style typical of manor houses in the Werra valley, it features three tall gabled dormers on both its north and south facades. Owned for centuries by the von Harstall family, it was stormed by rebelling farm workers in 1848 and later converted into an inn and hotel. Several representative rooms on the ground and first floors have retained their historic character.
