Schloss Künzelsau stands in Künzelsau, in the Hohenlohekreis district of Baden-Württemberg. Built between 1679 and 1681 by Johann Ludwig von Hohenlohe on the grounds of an earlier medieval stronghold, this Renaissance building with its four corner towers replaced the fortified seats once held by the lords of Künzelsau and later of Bartenau. Since the late 19th century it has housed a school, the Schlossgymnasium Künzelsau, which makes it primarily a working building rather than a visitor attraction.
