Schloss Alme stands in Brilon (Hochsauerlandkreis), in North Rhine-Westphalia, Germany. Its opening hours and prices have not been verified at the source yet.
Schloss Alme stands in the Alme district of Brilon, on the site of a former fortified house belonging first to the lords of Thülen and later to the von Meschede family. The present building, a moated manor house, dates largely from the first half of the 18th century, when Dietrich Adam von Meschede had it built over the remains of the older Niederalme stronghold. The south facade bears the combined coat of arms of the Meschede and Bruch families along with the date 1744. The three-wing complex, comprising the manor house and farm buildings around a courtyard open to the north, still displays a double outdoor staircase, an ornate portal and stuccoed ceilings in the entrance hall and garden room.
