Ottenhofen

Schloss Ottenhofen stands in Ottenhofen (Landkreis Erding), in Bavaria, Germany. The building is a listed Baudenkmal. No visits are on record for this building.

The Schloss Ottenhofen survives today only as the south wing of what was once a U-shaped complex, standing on the site of a medieval Burg destroyed during the Thirty Years' War. The two-storey building, topped by its distinctive onion-domed roof turret, still holds a vaulted cellar from the 15th century with Gothic brick pillars. Ownership passed through many hands over the centuries, from the lords of Ottenhofen to the counts of Perusa and later several Bavarian brewers, before the building came into municipal hands.
