The Burgruine Buchberg crowns the Schlossberg above Willmering, in the Landkreis Cham, Bavaria. Of the former stronghold, which once covered roughly 150 by 60 metres with a main castle and an outer bailey, only a stump of the keep measuring about eight by eight metres and a few wall fragments remain among the trees. The approach follows a granite-pillared Way of the Cross before a stone stairway climbs steadily through mixed woodland to the ruin at the top.
