The Burgreste Altrietheim are the remains of a former hilltop castle, now vanished, near the municipality of Rietheim-Weilheim. Built around 1100 by the lords of Rietheim at the edge of a valley, it had already fallen into ruin by the 16th century. What remains on site is scattered rubble and ground traces, including the outline of a keep measuring roughly seven by seven metres.
