The Burg Freudenberg is a ruined castle on the Schlossberg, at the southwestern edge of the village of Freudenberg in Bavaria. Built around 1250, it served as the seat of an immediate imperial lordship until 1594, before being converted into a schloss and gradually falling into decay. Only a tower mound and scattered wall remains survive today, standing on a rocky spur between two valleys. A fire in 1911 further damaged the already weakened remains.
