Burg Falkenbühl once stood at Stegen, in the Landkreis Breisgau-Hochschwarzwald, in Baden-Württemberg, on a low gneiss hill at the mouth of the Wittental valley. Likely built in the 15th century on the site of an older farmstead known as the Oberer Hof, it passed through the hands of the von Falkenstein, von Blumeneck, von Landeck and von Sickingen families. Nothing remains to visit today: the last standing remains of its residential tower, still visible around 1900, were demolished in 1911.
