Burg Boke once stood south of the Kirchboke district, on the southern bank of the Lippe river, within the town of Delbrück. Built in 1354 by the lords of Hoerde, it was destroyed in 1646 during the Thirty Years' War, then replaced in 1658 by an episcopal Schloss surrounded by Vauban style fortifications, which was torn down in the first half of the 19th century. Only a stretch of the fortification rampart and a partly filled moat survive today, on the eastern side of the former site.
