To make a day of it

Château du Sart stands in Villeneuve-d'Ascq (Nord), in the Hauts-de-France region of France. No visits are on record for this building.

The château du Sart stands in the Sart-Babylone district of Villeneuve-d'Ascq, on a site recorded since the 13th century as a manor house, though the present building dates from 1740 and was built for the de Fourmestraux family. Its former grounds now form an eighteen-hole golf course, with the clubhouse housed within the château itself. Nearby, in the adjoining farm, stands a 1761 dovecote built to a design described in Diderot and d'Alembert's Encyclopédie.
