Château du Pin stands in Le Pin (Jura), in the Bourgogne-Franche-Comté region of France. The building is listed as a historic monument (dating recorded in the Mérimée database: third quarter of the 13th century, 15th century, first quarter of the 16th century). The building is privately owned and no visits are on record.

Set on a hilltop overlooking the valleys of the Seille, Doubs and Saône rivers, a short distance from Lons-le-Saunier, the château du Pin retains the look of a 13th-century stronghold from the Franche-Comté region. Built in 1253 by Jean de Chalon to control the salt road, it is recognisable by its thick-walled rectangular keep, its five semicircular towers and its residential wing with mullioned windows. Partly torn down on the orders of Louis XIV and later reduced to a farm, the building owes its present appearance to a restoration carried out between the two World Wars.
