Château des Linières stands in Val-du-Maine (Mayenne), in the Pays de la Loire region of France. The building is registered as a historic monument (dating recorded in the Mérimée database: first quarter of the 17th century). Its opening hours and prices have not been verified at the source yet.
In Val-du-Maine, in the Mayenne department, the Linières château shows its main building flanked by four pavilions, set on a platform ringed by moats. Built mostly around 1640 for Jacques Philippe de Girard, marquis de Charnacé, on foundations going back to the Middle Ages, it still holds an early 17th century wooden staircase with painted decoration and two carved stone fireplaces. Left derelict for a long time, the building has been under restoration since 2015 by its current owner.
