Cet édifice éclectique de plan en L fut construit à la fin du 19ème siècle, à l'emplacement de l'aile sud de l'ancien prieuré Saint-Pierre. Il inclut l'aile est du prieuré dont il subsiste d'anciens bâtiments conventuels romans réaménagés au 18ème siècle. Le domaine comporte est également composé d'une maison de gardien, sorte de petit chalet, et d'un parc à l'anglaise. Le rez-de-chaussée du château a conservé des pièces décorées dans le goût Néo-Gothique.
