To make a day of it

Château de Tillemont stands in Montreuil (Seine-Saint-Denis), in the Île-de-France region of France. No visits are on record for this building.

The château de Tillemont no longer stands: this estate in Montreuil, documented since the 13th century and shown on maps of the 17th and 18th centuries, was torn down between 1806 and 1807. All that remains today are two ponds, the last traces of the former moat, along with some outbuildings still noted around 1859. The site is of interest mainly for its history, linked in particular to the writer Louis-Sébastien Le Nain de Tillemont.
