The château de Neuville stands in Gambais, in the Yvelines department, within an extensive walled park. Built in the second half of the 16th century, it kept its original layout until a classical remodelling in the mid 18th century gave it its central pedimented block flanked by two symmetrical wings. Visitors can see dry moats crossed by a stone bridge and a drawbridge, along with a façade lined with tall mullioned windows. Owned by the same family since it was bought back in 1800, the estate remains private property today.
