What the French Ministry of Culture records

Le château fut reconstruit avant la Révolution, puis vendu comme bien national en 1792. Dans la deuxième moitié du 19ème siècle, le corps de logis fut transformé: réfection des enduits extérieurs et création de décors peints dans plusieurs pièces. Intégré à une exploitation agricole, le logis a perdu plusieurs éléments de second oeuvre et se situe entre une cour, des anciens communs et une prairie, au sud. Le corps du bâtiment, de plan rectangulaire et coiffé d'un toit à croupes, comprend un soubassement, un rez-de-chaussée, un demi étage et un comble. Sa façade est percée de baies rectangulaire. L'ensemble constitue un exemple de maison de plaisance du 18ème siècle.
