To make a day of it

Château de Clémery stands in Clémery (Meurthe-et-Moselle), in the Grand Est region of France. The building is registered as a historic monument (dating recorded in the Mérimée database: 15th century, 19th century). The building is privately owned and no visits are on record.

At Clémery, in Meurthe-et-Moselle, a château whose core dates back to the 15th century took on the appearance of a late 19th century residence after successive building campaigns. The U-shaped structure, flanked by two round towers with conical roofs, overlooks a courtyard reached through an 18th century gateway topped with stone vases. The fifteen-hectare park holds notable trees, including a centuries-old sequoia, a tulip tree and a ginkgo biloba, along with an orangery and a small boxwood maze.
