To make a day of it
Château de Belmont stands in Andilly (Val-d'Oise), in the Île-de-France region of France. No visits are on record for this building.
Belmont castle, in Andilly in the Val-d'Oise region, was built at the end of the 16th century and substantially altered over the following centuries. Its fame rests less on its architecture than on its former residents: the Duchess of Duras hosted Chateaubriand there, and Talleyrand later installed his niece Dorothée de Courlande in the house. It subsequently passed through several owners, including the banker Jules Rostand, and has since been put to very different uses.
