What the French Ministry of Culture records
En 1850, le baron de Maynard de Ségoufielle décide de reconstruire le domaine. De l'ancienne demeure, il ne reste que le pigeonnier du 17e siècle. Inspiré par le modèle de Saint-Elix, le baron compose un jardin d'esprit classique, avec statuaire. De composition classique, un grand axe longitudinal passe par la maison de maître en créant une double perspective. Les abords de la demeure sont aménagés en hémicycle. Autour de 1942, l'ensemble est enrichi par l'introduction de cheminements poétiques et des sculptures.
