Château d'Esplas stands in Rebourguil (Aveyron), in the Occitanie region of France. Its opening hours and prices have not been verified at the source yet.
Standing on a hilltop in the Rougier de Camarès, the château d'Esplas retains a square enclosure flanked by three round towers and an older square tower. The latter, linked to the adjoining dwelling, is thought to date back to the founding of the lordship in 1261, while the residential buildings covering three of the four sides were added in the 15th and 16th centuries. The site reflects a fortified stronghold during the Hundred Years' War that later became a pleasure residence, as shown by the many windows cut into its walls and towers.
