This castle stands in the commune of Sainte-Hélène-sur-Isère, in the Savoie department of France. Originally built as a fortified stronghold in the 13th century, it underwent significant alterations in the 17th century that shaped much of its present appearance. It served as the seat of the lordship of Sainte-Hélène-des-Millières, which was later raised to the rank of a barony. The building is currently listed as a protected historic monument (inscription).
