Schloss Diepholz stands in Diepholz (Landkreis Diepholz), in Lower Saxony, Germany. The building is a listed Baudenkmal. No visits are on record for this building.
Schloss Diepholz stands on the site of a moated castle first recorded in 1233, now rebuilt as a three winged complex around a square courtyard. Diepholz's district court has had its seat there since 1852, while the 43 metre tower, the oldest surviving part, houses a museum open to visitors. The building bears the marks of repeated reconstruction, following a fire around 1522 and further destruction during the Thirty Years' War. A stone frieze above the north door, bearing the coats of arms of the von Diepholz and von Hoya families, recalls the lords who lived there in the sixteenth century.
