Schloss Buchenau stands in Lindberg, in the Landkreis Regen, Bavaria, set within an English-style landscape park laid out around 1870. Built from 1840 for the glass manufacturer Benedikt von Poschinger and later extended in historicist style by his son between 1868 and 1870, the building shows the stepped gables and corner turrets typical of the neo-Gothic revival. Around the main house several period outbuildings survive: the former administrator's house, a wash house with ice cellar, a greenhouse, a palm house and even a covered bowling alley. Since its restoration the estate has been run as a cultural centre, hosting seasonal markets and festivals.
