Burgstall Altneuhaus refers to the remains of a former spur castle perched at 471 metres above sea level in the Falkenberg forest, overlooking the Waldnaab valley near Falkenberg, in the Tirschenreuth district of Bavaria. Built in the 13th century by the lords of Falkenberg as a satellite stronghold to Burg Falkenberg, it passed through marriage to the lords of Leuchtenberg and was later sold to Waldsassen Abbey before being abandoned around 1400. What remains today are sections of the moats from the outer and main castle areas, while artefacts recovered from excavations are kept at the local museum in Neuhaus.
