To make a day of it

Château du Vaudroc stands in Limpiville (Seine-Maritime), in the Normandie region of France. The building is registered as a historic monument (dating recorded in the Mérimée database: 17th century, 19th century). The building is privately owned and no visits are on record.

The Château du Vaudroc stands in Limpiville, between Fécamp and Yvetot, in the heart of the Caux countryside. This brick-and-stone manor house, built in the 17th century in the Henri IV-Louis XIII style, gained two additional wings in the 18th century under the marquis Dyel de Vaudrocque. Its main interest lies in its French formal garden, with a large tunnel of trained hornbeams and flowerbeds lined with clipped lime trees, carefully restored by its successive owners.
