To make a day of it
Château de Vannaire stands in Vannaire (Côte-d'Or), in the Bourgogne-Franche-Comté region of France. Its opening hours and prices have not been verified at the source yet.
The Château de Vannaire is a fortified manor house dating from the late 16th century, standing east of the village at the foot of a limestone slope, on a square platform surrounded by partly water-filled moats. Its main building, flanked by corbelled turrets and a corner tower, still shows the defensive character of its period. A round dovecote and outbuildings remain outside the moat. As a private property, it can only be seen from the outside.
