Cette tour constitue le reste principal du château des abbés de Faget Abbatial, dont dépendait la bastide. Ce château était déjà en partie ruiné avant la Révolution. La tour est de plan carré. Primitivement, le rez-de-chaussée ne devait comporter aucune ouverture autre que la petite baie du mur sud. Il est voûté en berceau avec une trappe carrée. Du premier étage, un escalier mène au second. C'est un ouvrage caractéristique de l'architecture militaire médiévale des environs d'Auch.
