Château de Parthey stands in Choisey (Jura), in the Bourgogne-Franche-Comté region of France. What the French Ministry of Culture records

Le château fort est en partie détruit en 1479, et mentionné inhabitable en 1525. Il aurait été restauré avec tours, murailles, fossés, pont-levis. Au début du 19e siècle, il présente un corps de logis avec une tour sur l'angle et un grangeage parallèle supprimé après le développement de la ferme sud en communs. A la fin du 19e siècle, Louis Rouzet est chargé de compléter le parc, développer la partie Est du logis en pavillon et élever une chapelle de style néo-gothique. Le parc conserve son tracé "à l'anglaise", ainsi qu'un certain nombre d'éléments pouvant remonter au 18e siècle. Le logis se compose de trois corps de bâtiments. Le pavillon, deux tourelles sur les angles et logette sur un pan, présente une élévation de style Renaissance. La distribution intérieure est complète et dans son état 1900.
