The building is privately owned and no visits are on record.

In Choisey, in the Jura, the château de Parthey stands on the site of a fortress dating from the late thirteenth century, partly destroyed in 1479 and recorded as uninhabitable in the early sixteenth century. The present house, reworked in the late nineteenth century under the direction of Louis Rouzet, combines a Renaissance-style pavilion, two corner turrets and a neo-Gothic chapel. The park, laid out in the English manner, retains features going back to the eighteenth century. Inside, the layout has largely kept its appearance from around 1900.
