What the French Ministry of Culture records

Château de trois niveaux, construit sur un plan en L cantonné, aux trois angles, de trois tours carrées. La petite cour d'honneur présente deux tourelles en damier de marbre rose et blanc. A l'intérieur, escalier à rampes droites et balustres en marbre rose. Sur le côté ouest du château se trouve une chapelle du 17e siècle. L'édifice a été construit par Jean-Louis de Binos, seigneur de Signan, homme d'armes, qui se serait retiré vers la fin de sa vie dans sa maison de Guran et y serait mort en 1659. A cet emplacement se trouvait un château féodal, le fief de Guran appartenant au comté de Comminge.
