To make a day of it

Château de Brias stands in Brias (Pas-de-Calais), in the Hauts-de-France region of France. No visits are on record for this building.

The château de Brias, in the Pas-de-Calais region, was built starting in 1780 on the site of an older building destroyed during the French Revolution. It played a strategic role in both world wars, serving as Marshal Foch's headquarters during the Battle of Artois in 1914-1918, and later as a German fighter command post during the Occupation. Still privately owned by the de Bryas family, it was used as a filming location for the movie Joyeux Noël in 2004.
