Château Cagninacci stands in San-Martino-di-Lota (Haute-Corse), in the Corse region of France. The building is registered as a historic monument (dating recorded in the Mérimée database: 17th century, first quarter of the 20th century). What the French Ministry of Culture records
Le couvent de Capucins, dont la création serait de 1645, a été fondé officiellement en 1656. Les pères capucins assuraient la prédication dans les paroisses ainsi que l'enseignement des enfants. Les moines y demeurèrent jusqu'en 1797. Mis en vente, le couvent fut acheté par la commune en 1803, mais continua à être gardé par un père capucin. En 1908, le couvent fut vendu à un particulier qui le transforma en château. Le plan reprend celui des bâtiments conventuels en U : un corps de bâtiment principal et deux ailes en retour s'organisent sur deux niveaux autour d'une cour carrée, ancien cloître. Au nord, l'église ferme cette cour. L'intérieur est orné de boiseries dans les pièces de réception du corps principal. A noter également, les colonnes de marbre des salons, la cheminée avec hotte sculptée et la mosaïque des salons et du vestibule.
