Château Bertaud stands in Gassin (Var), in the Provence-Alpes-Côte d'Azur region of France. No visits are on record for this building.
Château Bertaud stands at the tip of the Gulf of Saint-Tropez, in the commune of Gassin, on a site occupied since antiquity. Built by the lords of Bertaud and documented as early as the sixteenth century, its present look, crenellated turrets and neo-gothic architecture, dates from nineteenth century alterations that made it a landmark for the earliest travellers to the Côte d'Azur. The estate also includes a small chapel built in 1882. It now lies within a naval industrial site, which limits public access to the building itself.
