Beside the Têt river, in the commune of Olette, two round towers mark from afar the site of the Bastida, a castle built in the 14th century by Jean de So, viscount of Évol. Of the square enclosure that once sheltered a small settlement, only these towers and a few remains near an old bridge survived the demolition ordered by an owner in 1820. The site is visited as an open-air ruin, with no reconstructed building, set in a Pyrenean valley landscape.
