Ancien palais abbatial de l'abbaye royale de Saint-Claude jusqu'en 1510. Puis résidence du prieur et palais épiscopal jusqu'en 1802. Bâtiment de la première moitié du 12e siècle, restauré au début du 17e siècle, puis reconstruit au 18e siècle et à la fin du 19e siècle. Transformé en chapelle avant de devenir résidence.
