Schloss Tüßling stands in Tüßling (Landkreis Altötting), in Bavaria, Germany. The building is a listed Baudenkmal. Its opening hours and prices have not been verified at the source yet.
Schloss Tüßling stands at the edge of the market town that bears its name, in Bavaria, still ringed by the moat that recalls its past as a moated castle. Built during the Renaissance for the counts of Toerring, it follows a regular four-wing plan flanked by octagonal towers topped with onion domes, a layout typical of alpine residences of that period. Its inner courtyard, lined on three levels with arcaded galleries, granite columns on the ground floor and Tuscan columns above, is the most striking feature of the building. Having passed through several private owners, and having served as a retirement home in the twentieth century, the estate later underwent a full restoration funded privately by its owner.
