To make a day of it

Château Doujat stands in Toulouse (Haute-Garonne), in the Occitanie region of France. No visits are on record for this building.

Château Doujat stands in the former village of Saint-Martin-du-Touch, now part of Toulouse, five kilometres west of the Capitole. Built of fired brick in the early 16th century, it is marked by an octagonal, crenellated stair tower and a turret leading to a terrace. The windows, with their ogee lintels, still echo late Gothic style, while the carved doorway already points toward the Renaissance. The surrounding park, planted in the late 19th century, forms a protected ensemble with the building.
