To make a day of it

Château de Peynier stands in Peynier (Bouches-du-Rhône), in the Provence-Alpes-Côte d'Azur region of France. No visits are on record for this building.

In Peynier, Provence, the former seigneurial residence now houses the town hall. Built at the end of the 16th century in the Provençal Renaissance style and substantially reworked in the 18th century by the Marquis de Peynier, the building retains its facade flanked by two round towers, a grand staircase and plasterwork decoration. A garden planted with mulberry trees also survives, still marked by a gateway dated 1769.
