It still shows a watchtower pierced with arquebus slits and a machicolated gallery, once topped with crenellations removed under Louis XIII. The coat of arms of the Salou de Toulgoat family, three boar heads, is carved into that same gateway. The estate remains privately owned and is currently being restored.
