The manor of Mailloc stands in Cailly-sur-Eure, in the Eure valley, a short distance east of the village centre. Built from the late 16th century by the Mailloc family, it comprises a group of buildings and outbuildings arranged around a courtyard enclosed by a moat and guarded at each corner by a square tower. The estate includes stables, a storehouse, a round dovecote and barns, with rubble-stone bases, timber-framed sections and roofs of tile or, on the towers, slate. Once given over to vineyards and walnut groves, the property was purchased in 1994 and turned to vegetable growing.
