# Manoir de Lasbordes

Albi, Tarn, Occitanie

Manoir de Lasbordes stands in Albi (Tarn), in the Occitanie region of France. The building is registered as a historic monument (dating recorded in the Mérimée database: 17th century, 19th century (?)). Its opening hours and prices have not been verified at the source yet.

In Albi, the Lasbordes manor house is a 17th-century brick residence, now the clubhouse of the municipal golf course, whose grounds still hold a rare woad mill and drying shed recalling the region's dye-trade wealth. Its U-shaped layout with nine bays, a semicircular pediment topped by a small belvedere, and an interior staircase with a balustrade inspired by the Palais de la Berbie are notable features. The drying shed still contains its original stationary millstone with seventeen grooves, an unusually rare survival for the area.
