> Le fief de Douville appartenait à la fin du 15e siècle à Jean de Maillet, anobli en 1522. Par alliance, la famille prit possession au 17e siècle du château de Friardel. Le manoir se compose d'un premier logis (fin 15e - début 16e siècle) avec cheminée engagée dans un mur-pignon en pierre. Un deuxième (début 17e siècle) perpendiculaire, possède un pignon en pan de bois décoré de sculptures gothiques avec cheminée monumentale. Un troisième corps est constitué d'un cellier surmonté d'une chambre d'apparat, chauffée par une rare cheminée Renaissance, et d'une tour.
