> En 1245, la chapelle du Bas-Morlu est cédée aux moines bénédictins. En 1485, l'évêque d'Orléans la cède à Richard du Mont, et l'édifice est alors transformé en manoir. Le corps de logis a été construit accolé à l'abside. Le mur de la nef a été surélevé pour créer un étage habitable. L'accès au bâtiment se fait par une tour polygonale qui a dû être ajoutée à la fin du 15e siècle et qui donne accès à l'étage. Le cul de four de l'abside conserve des peintures murales.
